POETRY AND LOVE!

You can read hundreds of love stories but still not think they project real love, but one good book of poetry can make you fall in love with love. Complex? Well, love is! I am going to talk about one such book that will make you feel overwhelmed with so many emotions. From the nostalgia of that first love to the good times and amazing feelings, from the happiness to the excitement, from the beginning to the end.  All that you once might've felt, because "Drowned in Milk Tea" talks about the first love of the author Anne Chivon and all the memories of that past.  The book is a thread of those good and bad, happy and sad memories, and while reading the book the reader cannot help but remember similar times of their past. The author certainly understood this would happen to all, and that is why she decided to go for a chapbook.  It means, that while reading the book, if you are reminded of anything, you can write it in the book. It is a wonderful experience and feels as if y

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO READ? THAT'S YOUR STOP!

A reader can never stop looking for new books and as much of a nuisance it might be to our TBR pile and our bank accounts, it is one of those 'guilty pleasure' things we all have, isn't it? There are times when you are looking for a good book but nothing seems to interest you. There are also times where you just want to jump in on something that you might not have ever tried before. Or you might as well just be randomly scrolling. The reason isn't the important thing here, the bigger thing is that I have three amazing books by the same author(s) and I want to recommend them to you. PRESS START  The first book, by the featured author Rose Sinclair (along with other authors) is a real modern-day fiction, where the protagonist named Loren wants to partake and win a game that has turned the whole world into a playground. She also wants to win the affection of the girl she likes. The game starts as a fun activity but takes turns when the rivalry between the previous champio

THAT'S SOME BIG BAD MAGIC!

MAGIC! FANTASY, FAIRYTALE, AND MAGIC!  How could all that possibly disappoint someone? It is always a great responsibility to create a book that has numerous elements and still has the potential to let the reader be engaged right until the end, let alone a series of books, where the reader cannot wait to pick the next book up. So is the case with this amazing book that I came across. This book is the first one from the "Big Bad Magic" series and it is an adventurous ride through an amazingly written storyline. In the first book, "The 8th Rank", the protagonist Mal wants to find answers from his past, but his memory is broken into pieces that he is having trouble stitching together. With the help of a magic mirror, Mal finds out that Robin Hood is searching for him.  He and Robin might've been friends earlier, but now he desires to be more. He needs to find a way to reunite with Robin.  His task is not easy though, because the kingdom is in chaos as the queen'

THE ONLY CITY I WOULD WANT TO VISIT!

Who doesn't love fantasy? Who doesn't love a thriller? That was a rhetorical question, EVERYONE loves them! Well that was just an overwhelmed me forcing my opinions on others. Jokes aside though, I am a person who lives for fantasies and thrillers. I am always in search of content that makes me imagine and feel things that are unbelievable and inexplicable. Something that makes me feel as if I am in a different world, that is just mine. It is the best feeling in the world. While I was searching for something exactly like that, I came across a beautiful fantasy/thriller novella and I just can't stop blabbering about it ever since I read it. First off, I was and still am a little new to the world of novellas and this was one of the best reading experiences I've ever had.  For an avid reader like I, this was an absolute delight. I cannot help but think that something this extraordinary deserves to be celebrated around the world. Before I can't stop myself from praising

LET'S GET THE CHILLS!

There are many kinds of readers, but I suspect that I have ever met any reader who hasn't read any thrillers. It is one of the most loved genres out there, and well its not without a reason. Today I am going to talk about one such brilliant thriller which I can assure you, will blow your mind to a degree that would be inexplicable.  " THE LIES WE WERE PEOMISED", by Rachel Ivan is a gripping story of Kerensa, who in search of her missing father, leaves her life in London and decides to visit India. What starts as a simple tale turns its plot when Kerensa is forced to forget her initial reason of visiting the place as she gets stuck in a plight of human trafficking, which brings her entire fate to imperils.  The author, Rachel Ivan, needs to be applauded for crafting this amazing piece of writing so wonderfully. It has all the elements of a good book, be it interesting and gripping backstories or amazing storyline that leads to a mind-blowing ending.  Each and every charact

"A BEAUTIFUL MIND IS POETRY DEFINED", INDEED!

Books are like those friends we can always count on to have our backs, in good as well as bad times. Today, I am going to talk about one such author who put his heart out in his book and stole our hearts through his words. In this unique book of poems, “A BEAUTIFUL MIND IS POETRY DEFINED”, Denis Brown has elegantly raised so many important questions and issues. He talked about nature, climate change, politics, news, people, rich, wildly celebrated or hated, and so much more, all that you once heard about, talked about, thought about and then forgot. Denis has done an amazing job of taking up writing poetry about reality, about life, about truth and yet successfully engaging the readers till the end. This book is everything you would expect from a book of poetry and more. It is a marvelous book and not only was it a lovely experience reading it, but it also led me to think about and realize so many things about this world. If a book has the capability of doing that then it certain
